Oct 29, 2024 · I'm hoping to do the same thing with my DSL 40Cr. I want to use a stereo delay in the loop and feed a second amp's effects return with the delay. I tried it at home but the delay I have doesn't sound too good when I use the dry out. The volume drops by half when I turn the delay on. I need to get a good digital delay for this.

Apr 30, 2024 · For rhythm tones or lead tones? with any of the normal marshalls (I.E., not the jube, thats a different animal) with humbuckers I start out with BMT at 4-5-6, 5-5-6, or 6-5-6, gain at 7-8/10 on 800 or noon on a DSL or 900, boost with a tube screamer with standard volume up gain down tone at noon or 1 o clock.

Aug 16, 2021 · I have a David Bray Lo-1 line out box between my Marshall Superlead Head and cab. The line out goes into reverb pedal and then into the FX return of a DSL 40CR. My question is this: Should I max the master volume on the DSL and use the Line out box to control the DSL's volume or use DSL's master volume to adjust it's volume?
