The M1917 Enfield, the "American Enfield", formally named "United States Rifle, cal .30, Model of 1917" is an American modification and production of the .303-inch (7.7 mm) Pattern 1914 Enfield (P14) rifle (listed in British Service as Rifle No. 3), which was developed and manufactured during the period 1917–1918.

Jan 23, 2024 · NO. You don't mention where you are in the US, but .303 Br is readily available most places and always online. There are thousands, likely 10s of thousands of .303 chambered rifles in the US, I would bet that as long as "ammo" is available, so will .303 be available!

Apr 25, 2013 · My friend who has a gun shop had a Enfield 303 come in the other day. I was expecting a standard Enfield but found it was made by Savage Arms and was marked Property of US . Does anyone have any knowlegde of these rifles? Trying to get a back round story on this rifle for my friend and myself.
