What's makes a Toyota 2jz so special? : r/cars - Reddit
Jan 13, 2015 · Every car in it's class, aside from the Vette, was discontinued due to poor sales. The Vette had a much longer heritage here in the states and the average consumer couldn't wrap their heads around a 6 cylinder outperforming a V8 and wouldn't spend the money... as you can see, that mentality still exists today.
2JZ, 1UZ, or 3UZ? : r/whatcarshouldIbuy - Reddit
Sep 20, 2016 · Keep in mind, that's the 2JZ-GE, which is the NA version of that motor, not the 2JZ-GTE which is the turbocharged version from the Mk IV Supra. Yes you can build it up, but it's going to cost some money. The only reason I wouldn't go with one of the V8 cars is that if a manual trans was offered, it will only be with the six cylinder.
2jz : r/Cartalk - Reddit
Jun 8, 2023 · You'd have to convert the car to RWD to make it happen if it even fit and at that point with how much cutting and welding and custom work to make that happen you'd be spending more than a newer nicer car. If you really want a practical 2JZ car maybe look and see if you can find a decent deal on an IS300 or SC300 in your area.

Hell_Raiser_999’s 2jz mod is awesome : r/BeamNG - Reddit
Nov 2, 2023 · Another car that needs a lot of work. I built it tonight and it needs some work. But I love the 2jz mod, the racing clutch is the realest feeling clutch in game. Low boost/shot and low rpm runs. I will turn the rpm/boost/nitrous up and add some 2-step in the engine.jbeam file to see what this thing can really do.
Can you swap the 2JZ engine in a front wheel drive car?
Mar 20, 2020 · You want to compare front track width (friends car against all cars that came with the to-be-swapped engines), engine dimensions including weight, front suspension type, and front/rear steer (rear steer in this context being steering rack behind the front knuckle vs in front), at least as a starting point.

Can I 2jz Swap a Toyota Celica : r/Celica - Reddit
Feb 3, 2022 · this is the sort of thing where it requires so much money and custom work that it doesn’t matter what the car or engine is, you really can theoretically swap any engine into any car. i’m not going to lie and i hope this doesn’t come across as too rude but, if this is a question you have to ask, you’re not ready to swap any engine into ...
Our IS300 Champcar Racecar : r/IS300 - Reddit
Jun 15, 2023 · The IS has potential and OP is chasing the right direction. Champ car is ultra competitive and just like Forza, it's typically advantageous to take an underperformed car and tune it up to (because Champ is points per mod) the class spec. World Racing Leauge (WRL) has more open Enduro rules and hint hint. There is a team running 2 IS' out there...
What are the odds of getting the 2JZ? : r/PixelCarRacer - Reddit
I remember the devs a while back commenting one of my old posts that the drop rate was 1/2000 so i don't like your odds of getting one out of 60 crates. Also the 2jz is only really better than the vr38 in the full mile and only by a little bit so i wouldn't say it is worth it anyway.
