24 SOW’s 10th Anniversary at Hurlburt
12 June marks the 10 th anniversary of the 24 SOW at Hurlburt Field. The “at Hurlburt” is key here as the wing’s lineage dates back to its original establishment as the US Army Air Forces 24 th Composite Wing (Special) 19 November 1942 and activation on 25 December 1942.
