Jan 5, 2006 · NEITHER of them are awd. Top Secret have NEVER made an awd Supra, so someone has been talking shit. Also, the R34 GTR uses an awd version of the getrag v160, so if you were going to do it, that would probably be a good place to look for a gearbox for the project. Also note only the 1JZ-FSE model of that car came out 4wd Orion, not the 1JZ-GTE. Dan.

Feb 18, 2012 · The 1JZ-GTE (90-93) comes with Manual for $1900. It has more torgue as well. The 1JZ-GTE VVTI (96-00) comes with Automatic for $1000. I've been thinking about an sc300 1JZ swap. ( I know it's a supra forum but I think it kind of belongs here too because the engine I wanna swap) I don't want to reach the sky with it.

May 13, 2005 · as for 1jz vs rb26. from what i know.. both motors put out around the same max hp. around 900rwhp. a far cry from the 2jz power. lol and it also takes the rb26 a shit load more money to get there. plus having to get a custom mand awd transfer case that wont rip apart at that kinda power is another reason the gtr's are just not good for all out ...
