Hello,I am a taxi driver, and I’ve noticed that my Garmin Fenix 8 records a significant number of steps while I am driving. Even when my hands are mostly still, the watch continues to count steps, which inflates my daily activity stats.

BTW, I presume you mean ANT+ rather than ANT. There's a significant difference between the two. Also, Garmin uses the standard Windows USB driver for USB devices. The Garmin driver is nothing more than a simple text file that lists the devices that have been setup in Express. If I were you, I'd uninstall express, reboot, and reinstall.

The activity file is in the folder //GARMIN/Activities. You can import it on the page Import Data of Garmin Connect Web.

Thank you for the response. I am currently using classic (I did not realize that I could revert). Since the 305 does not use the wireless drivers can I install Express and then un-install those drivers? Will express work at all without those drivers installed? To be honest I think the issue may be a driver conflict.

Anyway, very annoying that a £500 piece of kit cannot perform it's most basic function accurately - when we have been led to believe all along that hitting into a net was OK. I love the idea of HTH but may find myself not being able to reach the fairway with driver on a lot of the famous courses!

Sep 23, 2024 · Hi guys! I was about to order Fenix 8, but that seems to have quite many issues based on user complaints. That's a beautiful watch but I'm not sure if I'm brave enough to let my Epix pro go for more buggy device.

I got my new BMW with a Nav 5 yesterday. The Nav works OK on the bike. Last night I connected the Nav 5 to my laptop and it recognised it and I was able to update the maps onto an SD card in the navigator.
