Apr 6, 2020 · I know that Neodymium magnets are stronger than ceramic, and ceramic's magnetic strength is supposedly what makes them sound shriller than AlNiCo magnets in a pickup, but does anyone of you have any experience with Neos on the pickup poles?

Sep 23, 2013 · neodymium ("rare earth") magnets, they'll charge too easily and instantaneously. can be as small as 1/4" x 1/4", i use 3/4" x 3/4". these are extremely powerful magnets. get them online. magnetism is magnetism, to varying degrees of strength - all will charge alnico pickup rod or bar magnets perfectly.
