Welcome to the most beautiful castle in the South. Built in the C17th, this magnificent building is steeped in history. Originally built as a hunting lodge to entertain aristocracy and royalty, it was for centuries the family seat of the Weld family, the current owners of the Lulworth Estate.

Lulworth Castle, Chapel & Grounds are open Sunday to Thursday 10.30am – 4pm. Lulworth Castle, Chapel and grounds & permissive footpaths are CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC on SATURDAYS. The Castle is closed for the winter and will reopen on Sunday 2nd March 2025.
