Jun 23, 2012 · Mind, comparing M1 iPad Air (8GB RAM) and M1 iPad Pro (16GB RAM), it’s interesting to see that the Air was getting more stutters than the Pro. Gamers already know VRAM is pretty important. It would be interesting to see how that plays out given the shared memory architecture on the M-series chipsets.

Tried both 13” and 11” m4 iPad pros, returned both & ended going to same iPad I owned previously (bought used on offer up) which was an m1 11”. The OLED screens simply hurt my eyes and ruin the experience despite them having much better colors. I can finally enjoy using an iPad again - the LCD has no negative effect on my eyes.

Feb 22, 2013 · At the moment I currently have the 11 Inch iPad M1 and considering upgrading to the iPad Pro M4 whilst I can still get a decent trade in price for the M1. With the Educational discount I get plus the trade in cost I'm looking at £658 (including the cost of the new Smart Folio).

Jun 8, 2010 · That probably means that the iPad pro with M1 needs Power Delivery contrary to previous models. Generally PD starts at 18w, which is achieved with higher than 5v (5v can only go to 12w with USB A and 15w with USB C), typically 9v or 12v, while a 10w charger only charge at the 5v voltage.

Mar 5, 2010 · And yeah, around 36 watts was the most it would use (and some more powerful chargers actually worked worse for some reason, giving the iPad Pro less energy). Personally I use a 29 watt USB-C charger Apple sold a few years ago, charges the iPad nice and fast.

Oct 2, 2012 · Except compared with an MBA — the 12.9” iPad Pro has a smaller battery and a 120Hz mini-LCD screen, none of which do any favors insofar as battery life on the iPad. I’ve got both an M1 MBA and a 12.9” M1 iPad Pro myself, and battery life on the MBA is better. But the display on the iPad is so much nicer!

Feb 23, 2016 · Thanks everyone for confirming battery life on the 12.9" Pro. I received my 12.9" Pro, installed 16.1 and noticed the battery was draining quicker than on my budget iPad's. It seemed to be on par with my Galaxy Tab S7+ which has a OLED display. I have always felt performance on the S7+ for a large battery at 10000Mah was rather meh.

May 19, 2021 · Hey, ordered the new iPad Pro 12.9 with M1. On their website apple says 600 Nits of typical brightness but also 1.000 Nits and 1.600 Nits (HDR) so does it have 600 or 1000 Nits typical brightness?
