When searching in settings it returns “Tap to wake” under accessibility but I can’t actually find the setting for it to turn it on. Does this actually exist or is this a bug? I’m using iOS 13.2.2.

Nov 15, 2024 · Seriously, although I did trade in my old iPad mini 5 on a mini 7 (retaining my mini 6 for home control center use), I had earlier purchased an 11” M4 iPad Pro. I find myself preferring the IPP for reading ebooks and for some situations of handwritten note taking—two functions I had heretofore considered the exclusive province of my iPad minis.

Nov 9, 2024 · For note taking the Mini's size can't be beat. Plus it was just released. I have an M2 iPad Air and recently ordered the Mini 7 from Amazon. Up until recently they were selling the latest Mini for $399. Edit: Apple Intelligence requires 8GB of RAM so that rules out the M1 iPad Air. The Mini 7 has 8GB of RAM and supports AI.

The mini 7 has a chip equivalent to the iPhone 15, has double the ram to 8 gig and equally important the base model now has double the storage to 128 gb. It would not be a bad upgrade but if you happy with the Mini 5 just keep it and wait for the 8.
