There's a UK blogger website named ourdeal with an article talking about playing PS5 on iMac. Apparently you connect HDMI thru an adapter to the thunderbolt port, then cycle thru a "input" or "source" button on the iMac monitor until you see indicator for PS5 HDMI. Then setup resolution preferences to match iMac hardware.

The 15" 4:3 aspect ratio display I crammed in there isn't quite conducive to daily use so it begs to be hooked to a nice big TV. I really like being able to game on the 50" while I keep temperature, load monitors, and social media widgets displayed on the 15" underneath.

Jun 2, 2024 · Recently bought a 2013 iMac from a neighbour and have been using it for gaming. It outperforms my friends laptop which is fairly new (2021 I believe) and much more expensive. I’ve been running windows 10 through bootcamp. It is the least optimal version: outdated drivers, pretty sure its the 32 bit windows OS etc..
