Apr 15, 2024 · Hdmi 2 acting strange after a week or so. Cant reset it. Same cable, same everything works perfect in hdmi 4. Earc still works with hdmi 2 so ive had to run 2 display outs from my processor. It works for now but i cant seem to get it to stop doing this regardless of power cycling the tv, or just going to another app like channels, as suggested.

Oct 5, 2020 · I suppose in theory if I disconnected the HDMI cable between the TV and the receiver, I could get the receiver working with sound (and a video signal that never gets sent anywhere), and get video working wireless to the TV directly. But I obviously would want an hdmi cable connected between the receiver and the TV for several other devices.

Sep 21, 2024 · Both HDMI out ports goes from the same Panasonic chip in a X8500, the schematics I look at, that are $50 from Amazon and $12 from Aliexpress. Any repair shop should be able to replace that IC if they have professional hot air gears. It could also be the actual $2 HDMI connector that are damaged and need to be resoldered or replaced.

Brighter, better contrast, blacks, more 3D, transparency, etc. Overall, these changes, with the Audioquest HDMI upgrade was very natural. I found the Wireworld cables overly etched and not natural the way they changed the images and audio.

Mar 4, 2013 · Other ones should go on the RF cable (antenna or Cable TV) or on any other cables (HDMI, audio, video, network, etc) as close to the TV as possible. If you wind up with a spare one, you might put it on the end of the cable that connects the TV and Cable/satellite STB, close to the box.
