Earth Mission
We’re on a mission to change that. We believe that sustainable change is locally led. By training local leaders to provide high-quality healthcare, together we can improve healthcare outcomes, create sustainability, and multiply access for even the most remote jungle communities in southeast Myanmar.
About Us — Earth Mission
Earth Mission is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization training healthcare teams to empower people in remote Karen areas with health, hope, and knowledge.
Our Work — Earth Mission
In 2016, Earth Mission launched its Engineering Technology program to equip local leaders to provide technical support to remote healthcare settings. Students are trained to construct buildings, fix critical medical technology, build solar farms …
Why Healthcare — Earth Mission
Increased access to healthcare lessens the toll of health emergencies on the livelihoods of families surviving day-to-day on subsistence farming. Earth Mission aims to make high-quality healthcare available within 2 hours of every remote community in southeast Myanmar.
Sponsor a Student — Earth Mission
Earth Mission’s education programs focus on equipping young leaders with the knowledge and skills they will need to make basic and life-saving healthcare accessible to the remote jungle communities of southeast Myanmar.
Services 4 — Earth Mission
After going to Earth Mission’s jungle clinic, this was my first time in the remote jungle areas of my country. I saw what is happening in the ethnic group areas. It is terrifying how people are treating ethnic groups.
Services 4 — Earth Mission
Earth Mission exists to make their impossible dream a reality. In a nation that has fallen apart, sustainable healthcare systems must be built from the ground up—literally. Here’s how your support is making this possible:
Get Involved — Earth Mission
Our students drive our mission. By training local young leaders, access to healthcare is being multiplied throughout southeast Myanmar. A gift of $6,000 sponsors a student's education for one year.
The Whisper — Earth Mission
We had traveled thousands of miles, telling the story of our Earth Mission team to anyone who would listen. We showed homemade videos from the jungle clinic, shared pictures from the front line team, and told the heartfelt stories of the people we love in Burma and Thailand.
Services 4 — Earth Mission
Before seeing patients in the PA program, we had to study about how to take patient histories, how to do physical exams, how to communicate professionally, and how to ask patients questions. We studied about the common problems that we might see at Earth Mission’s jungle clinic—problems such as fever, cough, jaundice, and diarrhea.
