r/Berserk on Reddit: What's your opinion about Zodd? honestly he …
Maybe eventually Zodd decides it would be more in his interest to betray Griffith, get his fight with the godhand, and ensure guts doesn't die so that Zodd can still battle him like he wants. I don't see how in the long term Zodd benefits from serving Griffith and bringing order and peace, Zodd is essentially a god of war.
Why is Zodd so obediant to Griffth? : r/Berserk - Reddit
Jun 26, 2020 · Zodd is loyal to Griffith because he has to be. It isn't a choice, it's a necessity. If he saw an opening to kill Griffith, I think he would do it. I, like many others, predict that Zodd will eventually oppose Griffith. The reason that he may take that stance is unclear but it seems very much in his character to eventually do so.

r/Berserk on Reddit: Why do you think Zodd helped out Guts …
Jun 25, 2023 · First; Zodd's first wound in 300years makes Guts "special" to him. He wants a rematch with him, and it would be bs to have lost this incredible opponent because his sword broke on him. Second; Zodd knows of Guts' importance to Griffith's sacrifice. If anything, Zodd's interference was causality itself stepping in.
Why did Zodd help Guts at the battle of Doldrey? : r/Berserk - Reddit
Aug 6, 2019 · Skull Knight actually cuts off Zodds arm at the eclipse, but Zodd reattaches it. But generally i dont think that Skull Knight offers what Zodd really looks for and in addition Skull Knight is not interested in fulfilling that wish for Zodd. He is at a point where apostles barely matter to him, he is rather trying to go for the God Hand.

Jan 6, 2022 · ノスフェラトゥ (Nosferatu) is the reading they give, but they've also attached the kanji 不死 (immortal), implying that the name "Nosferatu" means "immortal" to the people in the world of Berserk, and that's why you see some translations …

Feb 24, 2023 · All apostles were human at some point so yeah, Zodd would've been human once. Pretty sure all of the godhand were as well. Many mysteries haven't been explained but there's more backstory to Zodd than we've been given. Zodd being one of Guts' ancestors seems unlikely though just because there's been nothing to connect them to each other.

TV Tropes has that one panel where Guts is riding Zodd through Ganishka as the header of the Awesome Moments in Berserk. For good reason. These two make an excellent team, despite being enemies.
Theory: Zodd is NOT an 'Apostle' : r/Berserk - Reddit
The term "apostle" isn't used ambiguously in the world of berserk. Zodd is the first apostle Guts comes into contact with. Since Zodd, Guts' guts unshakably likens every other brush against an abominable figure to that initial clash with Zodd. The exchange between Zodd and Wyald right before the latter is ripped into two is enough as a ...
