  1. Photoluminescence of ZnO nanoparticles and nanorods

Feb 1, 2016 · The photoluminescence (PL) of temperature-dependent of ZnO nanoparticles and nanorods prepared following a sol–gel preparation method is investigated. The size and shape of the nanostructures used are shown to influence the luminescence properties both in the near ultraviolet and visible domain.

  2. A review on ZnO: Fundamental properties and applications

Jan 1, 2022 · An optical transition in ZnO semiconductor has been studied by different techniques such as photoluminescence (PL), transmission, optical absorption, reflection, cathode luminescence, etc. Amongst all these methods, the PL technique has been widely employed to know the optical behaviour of ZnO structures.

  3. Photoluminescence spectra of ZnO nanoparticles, ZnO

(PL) spectra are effective way to study the effect of morphology on the electronic, optical and photochemical property of semiconductor like ZnO. The synthesized ZnO nanoparticles, ZnO...

  4. Charge transfer-induced photoluminescence in ZnO nanoparticles

By conducting time-dependent PL (t-PL) and photothermal deflection spectroscopy (PDS) measurements under vacuum and different gases, it is proposed that both inert (N 2) and reactive (O 2) molecules can be absorbed on the ZnO NP surface and induce charge transfer (CT).

  5. Structural, optical and luminescence properties of ZnO thin films: …

Dec 1, 2022 · Room temperature Photoluminescence (PL) spectra of triple-coated undoped ZnO thin film is reported which show the reduction in the visible PL intensity with increasing excitation wavelengths followed by the emergence of sharp “NBE …

  6. Electrical, photoluminescence and optical investigation of ZnO ...

Apr 26, 2021 · Structural, electrical, Photoluminescence (PL), and optical properties of ZnO nanoparticles samples are investigated. We have shown that the sintering temperature T s does not influence the wurtzite structure of the samples, while the lattice constants and average crystallite diameters are affected.

  7. Mapping the Origins of Luminescence in ZnO Nanowires by STEM …

Extensive work on ZnO photo- and cathodo-luminescence (PL and CL respectively) has identified a number of spectral contributions. Primary luminescence signals arise from transitions across the band gap often mediated by excitons, and transitions are associated with a variety of defects.

  8. (PDF) Photoluminescence of ZnO Nanowires: A Review

Apr 29, 2020 · In this work, we review the photoluminescence (PL) properties of single and collective ZnO nanowires and nanorods. As different growth techniques were obtained for the presented samples, a...

  9. PL spectra of ZnO and rGO–ZnO | Download Scientific Diagram

In this study, ZnO-GO particles for the photocatalytic degradation of methylene blue (MB) dye were successfully biosynthesized. Microwave-assisted biosynthesis was carried out using the extract...

  10. Synthesis and photoluminescence characterization of ZnO

Feb 1, 2013 · The effect of annealing temperature and pH impact on ZnO products with respect to the morphological and photoluminescence (PL) characteristics has been investigated. It is found that the synthesized ZnO nanoparticles have pure wurtzite structure and the average crystallite size increased with increasing annealing temperature.
