“What strikes me most about the Yoshiki 2016 Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon is the harmony between fruit, texture, and aromatics. The wine presents a true beginning, middle, and end, where each part is unique yet truly integrated with smooth body and opulence.

The wine has tremendous aromatics of fresh dark fruits; plums, blackberry, huckleberry and remarkable spice from the barrels of vanilla, toffee and hazelnuts. The aging of the wine and wonderful fruit combine to yield and exceptionally smooth and full bodied red wine.

Wine. Vibrant pale gold in color, with delicate aromas of Bartlett pear, Envy apple and nectarines. On the palate, the mouth is medium bodied with layers of white peach, toasted hazelnuts, vanilla young mango. The wine finishes gracefully and invites you back for another glass.

The Y by YOSHIKI aromatics offer freshly crushed Cacao nibs, Kiowa Blackberry, elderberry, minerals and earthy suede. The body of the wine is noted for the smooth texture and wonderful expression of dark fruits with savory layers with a long voluminous finish.
