One of the goals of this project was to produce a lower that would accommodate users interested in running the XCR-L as a pistol out of the box, thus the rear rail that replaced the need for a pistol cap and allowed for the installation of stocks/braces (where legal).

Mar 11, 2005 · I will post the mods that were made on my 99 XCR 800. By far the most fun sled I have ever owned, I don't think I will ever buy another short track. I did not do these mods, I bought the sled already done, if I sound like I don't know what the hell I am talking about, you are right.

It runs on premixed fuel, has a shaved XLT head for better airflow, SLP triple pipes, airbox delete, holtzman variflow, simmons flexi-ski's, rail extensions to a 136, short tunnel extension and a lexan hood.

Feb 28, 2011 · Okay I am trying to figure out what kind of mods or upgrades to do this summer. so far what i have done is a 136 extension with 2inch lugs. Front skid mount lowered to fit track. slp air box, some clutching not sure all what has been done.
