Dec 2, 2021 · Give me A2 length any day. It's amazingly lightweight for a 16" carbine that doesn't have a lot of material cut away. I put a VCOG 1-8 on it, but the balance was off, so I ended up just putting a Vortex red dot until I get something better for it.

Jul 2, 2021 · Will update in another thread for sure, but based on what I read in the AR15.com forums, you can get away with a standard A2 as long as you use a spacer to fill the 0.2in difference on a 14.5 barrel. Luckily I haven't ordered the barrel yet so still have wiggle room to opt for a 16in if need be.
