We are a friendly, open and welcoming church community, with enjoyable worship and a relaxed atmosphere. We believe that God calls us to be at the heart of the area, serving the needs of the whole parish including the communities of Worplesdon, Wood Street and Fairlands.

St Mary’s Church, located in Perry Hill in the village of Worplesdon, is a historic building, dating back at least 1000 years. It has many points of historical interest – see booklet [hyperlink] for more about its history.

We offer a range of worship services which we hope will appeal to you. Services at the parish church, St Mary’s, are rather more traditional while those at St Alban’s are less formal. We look forward to seeing you at either church.

St Alban’s Church is located in Oak Hill in the village of Wood Street. The current building dates back to the 1960’s and replaced a former ‘mission hall’ style building. Used for Sunday Worship and the occasional baptism, wedding and funeral, the building offers a flexible space with moveable chairs.

A Church noticeboard shows the entrance to our drive. Proceed up the drive to the carpark. An overflow carpark is on the left hand side opposite the Rectory.
