That’s a shame that you’ve chosen announce things on a third party website that some people won’t use for moral/ethical reasons, and one that can be and is just as trolled as the forums that you control.

Apr 5, 2024 · Unfortunately, it seems like the SoD devs aren’t really balancing the game very well in general, but especially PvP balance has become pretty silly and honestly not much fun compared to Classic WoW PvP. The majority of PvP specs in SoD frontload all their damage, and are very offensively balanced.

May 17, 2024 · Blizzard has released a Developer Update for Season of Discovery. Since the Classic team is working on both Season of Discovery and Cataclysm Classic, Phase 3 of Season of Discovery will last longer than previous Phases.

Dec 20, 2023 · There are 3 main things that make me feel positive about SOD and the dev team. First and foremost, no Pay to Win aspects are being added, at least yet. I was worried about this, but so far my worries haven’t been realized, and that is a very good thing.

I recommend watching it, there's some good info in there about all the Classic stuff, not just SoD. Key takeaways for me from the SoD section though are: All mobs in the overworld and in dungeons/raids are getting damage buffs from the start to account for increased player power.
