Memorial Park is the city’s oldest and largest park, acquired by the city in 1969, one year after incorporation. The park contains both active and passive use areas, and includes significant natural areas with an extensive trail system.

The water feature is a signature element of this park and features cascading water with a zero-depth entry pond and bubbler elements.

Park at Merryfield is a neighborhood park that is linear in nature, providing protection for the significant wetlands that comprise almost seven acres of the site. An important local access trail passes through the park, connecting the neighborhood to Inza Wood Middle School, Boones Ferry Primary School, and Graham Oaks Natural Area.
