Jun 30, 2022 · The tubs hold the water better and lots of deer and every other animal found in GA can be routinely found drinking out of them. I figure the deer survived in the area for eons before I put out these water sources so they're definitely not 'needed'. But on the other hand the deer and other animals, large and small, seem to really enjoy it.

Plus we have have a Deer species on base and around the area that are absolutely awesome! Chinese Water Deer, they are small, like 35 lbs full growth, no antler but they do grow fangs/tusks!

Nov 20, 2020 · Use a section of hose to connect to the trailer. If it doesn't have a freshwater tank and pump, install a small pump between the drum and intake with a switch. Turn the switch on when you need water in the trailer. To refill the drum, use a battery powered siphon to transfer water from a barrel or bucket. I hope this makes sense.

Sep 7, 2017 · We used a food grade 55 gal blue barrel for water. Drill a hole in one of the caps just big enough for a length of pvc pipe, about 1". There are 12v water pumps at Tractor Supply, get the highest GPM you can. You can figure out how to hook water line from the pipe in the barrel to the pump, and same goes for pump to the shower.

Aug 12, 2009 · I had heard about the "high water mark" and "100 yr flood plain" but wasn't sure about it. I ran into a FWC officer one day at the lake and asked him about it. He said that it is a really "grey area" and unclear as to where the 100 yr flood plain/line is but to be safe as long as I was on the lake side of water stained trees I would be leagle.

Feb 22, 2025 · When I'm hunting or fishing, I don't want cold water. I get so involved in the task at hand, that I don't want to sip water. I just want to guzzle it to stay hydrated. I think a couple of Smartwater 1.5 Liter bottles is the way to go now. I also think I'm done with "bladders." They are just too much trouble to fool with, IMO.
