Plan Your Visit - Explore Washington Park
The Park is free to enter. There is an admission fee for the Portland Japanese Garden, World Forestry Center Discovery Museum, and Oregon Zoo. There is a $2.40/hour fee to park, which may vary during special events. LOCATION. Located two miles west of downtown Portland, Oregon. To drive, take exit 72 from Hwy. 26.

Washington Park in Portland, Oregon - Spring Break Transit Trips
Take TriMet’s Red or Blue MAX Light Rail lines to Washington Park station, and then hop on the Washington Park Free Shuttle to Hoyt Arboretum’s Visitor Center. If you’d rather walk from the MAX station, it’s only a ½-mile walk along the Overlook Trail to reach the Visitor Center.
