Folks should listen to 1190 AM on the PM drive. Most of the time it's China-centric talk but they have a show called Music Safari -- no commercials -- with the widest variety of music I've yet seen on terrestrial radio (more varied than the Jack FM clones like 107.3).

Dec 21, 2020 · 97.1 WASH-FM is doing their Children's Hospital fundraising drive. I do donate to them because we had a scary experience when DD was an infant and Children's saved her, but I wish they would save the extra scary stories for later.

Jul 23, 2024 · Wash U is test optional so only send a >1500 SAT or >35 ACT. Harder coursework is more preferable but there is no cut off in GPA. This is true for our private high school as well even if you’re not an athlete - though I think they have said anything above a 34 is fine to submit.

Oct 2, 2023 · We visited all three. They each have a very distinct vibe. WashU felt more like a country club. But Northwestern and Vanderbilt seem to attract somewhat similar applicants.

May 11, 2020 · I think it depends upon how much your child wants Catholic identity, preference for rural vs urban, and love of football. Notre Dame is a first choice for many who go there, whereas Wash U still has a reputation as backup to the Ivies.
