Disabled Accessibility Guide for Ward 33 in University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust providing accessible disability and wheelchair friendly information

Our General Medical wards are Ward 33, 34, Hampton Suite and 38 at the LRI and Wards 1 and 15 at the LGH. All of our wards are fast paced with a high number of admissions and discharges daily, they care for both male and female adult patients of all ages.

All patients needing to enter wards and clinics in the Balmoral Building should do so via the Windsor Building marked on the map overleaf. There will be signage around the site to guide you and our staff and volunteers will be happy to redirect you should you get lost.

Ward 33 is/are located on the first floor of Glenfield Hospital. There is step free access, via lift, to Ward 33. Ward 33 is approximately 9m from the lift 5/6. View information on additional parking at the hospital (opens new tab). Access to Ward 33 is via the east entrance.
