Welsh Rugby Union - The new Wales kit, by Macron - revealed
A set of unique features sees the red dragon of the Welsh flag embossed across lower back of the shirt, an embossed pattern covering the sleeves – cleverly transforming the hexagonal shape of the WRU three-feathers logo into ‘dragon scales’ – and the Welsh word ANRHYDEDD (honour), also embossed, on the back of the collar.

Welsh Rugby Union - New 'green' Wales kit revealed
The Welsh word ‘Angerdd’, meaning ‘Passion’, is embossed on the back of the neck and the Macron Hero logo is embroidered in white beside the WRU’s three feathers. Dark green shorts and white socks complete the ‘Away’ kit, with black sidebands and white detailing on the shorts and a dark green top hem to the socks.

A group of 11 clubs – Swansea, Lampeter, Llandeilo, Cardiff, Newport, Llanelli, Merthyr, Llandovery, Brecon, Pontypool and Bangor – came together at the Castle Hotel, Neath on 12th March 1881, to form the Welsh Rugby Football Union.
