Oct 6, 2020 · Having been frustrated over Mercedes’ no longer updating W221 nav maps (since 2014), I have looked over a number of solutions to replace our navigation system. The best seem to involve adding either Apple CarPlay or Android Auto to our existing system. Some involve replacing COMAND screen, others involved adding boxes that leave wiring visible.
