Vincenzo Galilei (3 April 1520 – 2 July 1591) was an Italian lutenist, composer, and music theorist. His children included the astronomer and physicist Galileo Galilei and the lute virtuoso and composer Michelagnolo Galilei.

Vincenzo Galilei was the father of the astronomer Galileo and a leader of the Florentine Camerata, a group of musical and literary amateurs who sought to revive the monodic (single melody) singing style of ancient Greece.
