A Via Ferrata is a type of mountain climbing that goes through a path that has a permanently installed safety system, giving people without any climbing experience, and using minimal equipment the opportunity to climb through a spectacular mountain scenery.

Located in the Sacred Valley of Cuzco, Peru, the exclusive Skylodge Adventure Suites offers you the chance to sleep within a completely transparent hanging bedroom, that allows you to appreciate the impressive view of this magic and mystic valley.

It is a combo for both activities, you will climb 400 meters of via ferrata and descend the mountain using 6 zipwires (150 mts to 700 mts). Maximum weight of 265 lbs (120 kg) to safely climb the via ferrata and ride the zipline.

Now, this approximately 100km-long valley is home to some of Peru’s most impressive ruins outside of Machu Picchu and is considered an essential day trip for visitors to Cusco.

Climb the 400m via ferrata to the sleeping capsule which has its own private bathroom and dining room. You’ll be served a gourmet dinner on the side of the mountain (as well as breakfast the next day) before ziplining back down the mountain.

Sleeping in these transparent 24-foot by 8-foot capsules suspended on the side of a 1,200-foot mountain 1,312 feet above the Sacred Valley is not for the faint of heart.
