The early Type 25 was still fitted with an Aircooled engine. This was available as a 1.6 (CT Engine Code) or 2.0 (CU or CV engine code). In 1983 the first Watercooled petrol engine was available. This was available initially as a 1.9 and then shortly after the 2.1 was introduced.
