Flying Leathernecks Decals New Sheets coming!
Jun 1, 2017 · ** The VMFA(AW)-332 Lo-Vis option was dropped and replaced with an option for an ATARS fitted F/A-18D that was assigned to VMFA-232 for their 2010 deployment in support of OEF. The artwork for sheets 32004 and 32005 are done. An announcement will also be made when each sheet is actually emailed to Microscale for printing.

Aug 6, 2020 · Here is a side view of a MER on a A-6: showing how much room there is between the bombs. To further muddy the waters, on the F-4 the MER was moved either forward or aft depending on what was loaded on it, the Ordnanceman manual has the info on pg7 of the reader (pg 10-11 of the manual).

Dec 1, 2016 · I am not going to do the box art NG-100 "Showtime 100". Its a nice scheme and the plane has a interesting history. I decided to an other Vietnam war F-4J with an not so glorious story. Its the WT-10, BuNo 155811 from the VMFA-232 "Red Devils". 155811 was the only Marine jet shot down by MiGs during the Vietnam war.

Aug 6, 2020 · Just a bit of an update. I fitted and filled the nose cone, drilled new holes and filled the old ones for the outer pylons and mounted the outer wings.

Red Tail Crusaders - LSP Discussion - Large Scale Planes
Jun 24, 2010 · Did VMFA 232 ever have F-8s with solid red tails? Did a quick google image search just out of interest, and the only modern aircraft types I could find with red tails were the F4 and F18? I don't recall seeing any F8's with red painted tails in any of my references either.
