Fighter Squadron 202 (VF-202) nicknamed the Superheats was an aviation unit of the United States Naval Reserve initially based at Naval Air Station Dallas, Texas.

The Superheats were established on the 1st of July 1970, just under two weeks before VF-201. As with their sister squadron VF-202 transitioned to the F-14A from the F-4S Phantom, receiving their first F-14A on the 10th of April 1987.

Operating from Carswell AFB as it was known then due to runway repairs at its base NAS Dallas which closed in 1998. Built as an F-4J. Later converted to an F-4S. Stored at Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ in 1987. To Twentyninepalms, CA for use as a range target in 2007.
