Jan 16, 2022 · Built as a F-4J, this Phantom was delivered in the early 70s to the US Navy and started to serve VF-154. It was transferred to Air Test and Evaluation Squadron (VX) FOUR in '76 just after it was converted to F-4S. The Spook served as the prototype for the F-4S from Jul'77.
