Jan 23, 2018 · V6 box requires its own connection to a Virgin media super hub as the V6 box lacks a built in cable modem unlike the older V+ & Tivo boxes. Virgin's own terms & conditions wont let you have a V6 box without also taking there broadband service.

Oct 2, 2018 · There's no problem with the equipment or the cables, as I can get a 2160p signal direct from the v6 to the 2 setups (one TV, one projector + AVR). Everything is certified up to HDCP 2.2, 4k 60 khz etc.

Mar 4, 2017 · We had the new V6 box fitted a few days ago, great system and incredibly fast. However there appears to be a problem with the volume control on the box. Firstly the unit is at a much lower volume level than the old TiVo box (by about 50%).

Jan 28, 2017 · The V6 has an aeriel plug adapter which I don't like, I much prefer the V+ box that the fibre optic cable plugged straight into. My V+ box was manufactured in 2002 and I had no problems with it but I wanted to upgrade to the VIVID 200 broadband and was offered the V6 for free which was a good deal.

Mar 23, 2017 · The V6 design does allow for the HDD to be detached and swapped, allowing for an upgrade without having to swap and reconfigure the box. The bottom half of the V6 is essentually an external HDD. Personally I wish they would support HDMI-CEC, practically all 4K HDMI chips support it so it just needs to be implemented in software.
