The UT Austin IEEE Robotics and Automation Society (RAS) is an umbrella organization for several committees that build robots! Our office is located in EER 0.822C; feel free to drop by any time! Someone will usually always be in there.

Any UT undergraduate can apply (you don’t have to be an engineer!). Students will be selected based on their expected time commitment for Robotathon over the semester, and their free schedules. This allows us to match you up with participants with similar schedules.

RoboMaster combines robotics and engineering with the excitement of a FPS game. Teams build a fleet of three robots each that are either driver-controlled or fully autonomous to engage in projectile combat.
