The USS Plymouth Rock (LSD29) Association came into being through the untiring efforts of Harry T. Andersen, BTC, of Waukegan, IL who served aboard the "Rock" in 68-70. Harry had the idea of forming the association after having been married on board and retiring while attached to the Plymouth Rock.
