After an underwater UFO has attacked and sunk a freight ship in the ocean, Straker, Foster and SHADO lieutenant Nina Barry join a submarine crew to find out what they can. However, they too are attacked by the UFO's vessel and, as a result, their submarine is grounded on a ledge.

Initially called 'Project Blue Book' - Was a good tv show on the UFO subject in the late 70's. I believe it was produced by Jack Webb of Dragnet fame. As I recall it was well done visually for the time and stories were decent enough.

Coming to live action though, UFO amongst others, the wooden, stiff 'acting' is abysmal, the series is plagued by RBA and equally by TWS (really bad acting, and totally worthless screenwriting). UFO starts out with some of the most wooden, boring, and puerile acting and storyline ever seen.

Three Interceptors are sent to frustrate a UFO attack but one collides with the UFO, killing the pilot, Ken Matthews. Lieutenant Gay Ellis was giving the pilots their instructions and Straker suspects she sacrificed Matthews to spare another pilot, Mark Bradley, her apparent lover.

UFOs of the '70s: Covers UFO sightings throughout the world during the highly active period of the 1970's. The sightings spread across locations from Kansas to New Zealand.
