Although a positive test is not required to be seen in UAB’s Post-COVID Treatment Program, it is helpful to confirm that an individual had COVID-19 disease. Our program will see those who have experienced a COVID-like illness and symptoms consistent with long COVID.

UAB will offer free vaccinations with the Pfizer vaccine for COVID-19. Participants will be able to receive their first or second dose of the Pfizer vaccine. Vaccines will be offered to current and prospective students as well as any family members or friends who may be accompanying them and meet eligibility requirements.
COVID-19 Testing - UAB Medicine
UAB Medicine Urgent Care offers COVID-19 testing for anyone age 18 and up who needs to be tested before traveling. You cannot be tested if you have COVID-19 symptoms. The cost is $125 (not covered by insurance), and no appointment is needed.
