They were sold from 1963-1967(8) in small numbers, the anemic drivetrain and smallish size weren't big sales factors at the time, and the model did poorly. They surface occasionally, especially on the West Coast, and they have a small following.

Oct 20, 2004 · Looking for a new 4" lift for my FJ40. Bought Downey rears before and they sagged on one side. SOL on that. Really like the way the HFS springs look. Looks like they did their homework from the article in Toyota Trails. I was wondering if anybody has them installed, and how they like them.
