The best part of the older ones it they are so ignored by buyers the prices are always nice and low. No one seems to want them. Turboing the 5M-GE - Supra Forums
Apr 22, 2002 · The car has 126K on it with factory orginal injectors. I was using a 10:1 rising rate but have switched to a 12:1. Mostly because of the turbo upgrade as the 10:1 seem to work fine. I have not had to rebuild my 5M as the damn thing won't break! My 6M parts and gaskets have all been purchased thru Toyota.

Sep 9, 2002 · Im pretty sure you can run 0,45 bar on stock 5mge, but thats about all i would dare to push it when stock! However, i dont remember the compression differences between the 82-83 5mge and the 84-85, so maybe you'll be fine with even more boost. 0,45 bar is almost 7 psi.
