Toxik is an American thrash metal band formed in 1985 in Peekskill, New York. After breaking up for the first time in 1992 and briefly reuniting in 2007, the band reformed once again in 2013. Toxik has gone through several lineup changes over the years, leaving guitarist Josh Christian as the only constant member.

Formed in 1985 by Josh Christian and Lee Ervin under the name Tokyo. The original line-up included Josh Christian on guitars, Lee Ervin on bass, Sal Dadabo on drums, and Mike Sanders on vocals. The band later had to change the name to Toxik due to legal threats by another band with the same name.
