Jul 24, 2008 · i've been screwing with this all nightreading all the posts and info, i could findi been downloading a torrent with 4 or so of 150 + seeds and getting 10 to 30 kb's down and 60 + upfix the port forwarding and now i'm getting 160 - 170I know i set this all up before, but i guess something glitched...

Did rogers recently find a new way to block bittorrent traffic
Feb 4, 2007 · Yep, I'm with Rogers and since last week my downloads are much slower! It's mostly the upload speeds that are affected, my up limit is set to 30k/s, but now, with 3 torrents going it'll only go up to 10-15kb/s.

Jan 3, 2006 · Yeah I am using TEKSAVVY. They do not throttle. I pay $65 a month ($55 before taxes) in Canada (southern Ontario near Toronto) and I basically use my internet for everything so it works out great. Never had a problem. I get 3MBPS download and 125KBPS upload consistently and those are the minimums.

Jan 8, 2008 · Guys, help me out! I live in Toronto, Ontario, and recently got Rogers Express 10Mbps, but my internet is tested as 15Mbps. The problem is, my Utorrent speed is crap! The upload speed can't usually go above 40kbps, and is usually 1kbps. The download speed is usually around 56kbps, and I've seen it jump up to 400kbps once.
