Tom Ridout is a young Jazz Saxophonist and Recorder player based in London. A graduate of The Royal Academy of Music, Tom is a prolific composer who fronts three especially compelling yet contrasting bands playing his original compositions.

Thomas "Tom" Gerald Rideout (born June 25, 1948) is a former Canadian politician who served as the fourth premier of Newfoundland from March 22, 1989 to May 5, 1989.

The No Excuses Band was formed to record Tom’s debut album, which features a 13 piece ensemble consisting of the Tom Ridout Quintet (sax/recorder, guitar, piano, bass, drums) with added second guitar, string quartet and brass trio (flugelhorn, french horn and trombone).
