From 27 October 2010 (issue 3508) The Dandy returned as a weekly comic and dropped "Xtreme" from its title. The contents received a major overhaul, and all the comic strips from the Xtreme era except for Desperate Dan, Bananaman and The Bogies were dropped.

The Dandy Xtreme was a fortnightly magazine mixing comic strips and features, replacing the old weekly Dandy comic. The experiment failed, and after three years, it was given a major revamp and became a weekly comic again.

Jan 20, 2025 · In an attempt to combat declining sales in the late 2000s, the comic rebranded as the fortnightly The Dandy Xtreme, which had an edgier art style and introduced more magazine elements - promoting movies, video games, wrestling and various celebrities.
