TFL Car is a joke of a YouTube channel : r/XVcrosstrek - Reddit
Years ago, TFL had a Subaru test car, and they ended up damaging the test car. Therefore, they were blacklisted from test cars from Subaru. Subaru is nowhere near perfect, but TFL have been overly critical and biased against Subaru in particular since that incident.

I like TFL because they are local-ish and have that nice, low-but-not-too-low budget feel and present a more "normal" perspective on cars that complements my nerdy in-depth one. The presenters don't feel like annoying youtube personalities either. But they really should stay away from clickbait/watchbait.
New Tacoma breaks during the TFL Off Road test : r/cars - Reddit
THIS. I like Toyota & Lexus a lot but now with all the extra electronics in their cars, they can fail just as quick as other brands. To be fair, they are probably still better than other makers. If I can't get an older Taco or this year's 4runner (so before they are all gonna be I-4s with hybrids), I'm considering a Kia Sorento.
Which car has the worst AWD system? : r/cars - Reddit
Dec 26, 2022 · Some “AWD” cars seem to basically not have an AWD system at all (Yaris Cross, some Kias). Hopeless and useless. Better brands perform basically the same as Subaru’s system in these tests, Mazda’s second Gen AWD system, or some models of Nissan, for example. It also helps separate out the differences you find in true performance models.

Aug 11, 2023 · Dodge explains why the Hornet (and other cars) threw errors on the TFL slip test I'm not the biggest FCA Stellantis fan, but I've got to give them props for taking note of the issue, spending time and energy to reproduce it, and then providing an explanation for why it happens and inviting TFL to witness a demonstration of the findings.

Mar 10, 2024 · There's around 330 BMW dealers in the US. 200 Rover deals. 200 Porsche. 200 Audi. Those are actual dealers too. Real inventory, real service departments. There are 19 Ineos dealers and for instance the one TFL bought thru was an office space with a single demo vehicle. For me the nearest BMW, Mercedes, and such dealers are 30 minutes away.

Nov 22, 2022 · Background: I'm a manual transmission guy, at almost all costs. It's literally the most important feature on a car for me. Right now I have a 2020 Hyundai Venue (the only year it came w/ a 6 speed manual). As manual transmission cars go away, I feel like the next few years may be my last chance to have new or relatively new manual options.
