Meet Techy Masero- the lady behind Darwin Festival's iconic lanterns! Chilean born sculptor, Techy, will feature on Channel NT's upcoming website launch to share her love for the Top End and how it inspires her creative juices.

Techy Masero was born and raised in Chile, where she trained at a tertiary level as a fine arts teacher and specialist sculptor and painter. She migrated to Australia in 1985 and has since continually worked as an artist and artistic facilitator in the Northern Territory, and other parts of Australia and the world.

The Memorial was designed by Techy Masero, sponsored by Remembering Cyclone Tracy Inc. with grants from the Commonwealth and Northern Territory governments.
