Dec 5, 2024 · I accidentally purchased an online version of Turbo Tax Premier. I then thought I was correcting by purchasing the desktop version. I cannot access either in my desktop. I would like to prepare the return using the desktop version. However, I do not see the icon to commence. Can I also get a refund for one of the purchases? Who should I contact?

If you did install the program, but it didn't create a shortcut icon, we can tell you how to create a TurboTax shortcut icon to place on the Windows desktop, which is the same method to create any program's shortcut icon to launch a program's executable.

Jan 18, 2025 · Since I logged into my Turbo Tax Account during the installation, now it did show a product there. However, there is no download link. My feeling is, at this point of time, since 2023 Turbo Tax is no longer at the download link it was supposed to be at, none of those purchased 2023 Turbo Tax would be able to download.

Jan 23, 2025 · I simply double clicked on the TurboTax 2024 icon on my desktop and the same result happened where the TurboTax Window briefly pops up on the center of my screen and then quickly disappears, which is the same issue I started with.

Jan 22, 2025 · Have downloaded (& uninstalled) software for Windows several times. The icon appears on the desktop but program will not launch. I ran computer diagnostics and the just-downloaded file appears to be an old (Windows 8 or older).
