Oct 10, 2024 · The most consistently accurate is the Smith & Wesson 18-3. This is true for single action and as well as double action shooting. It is by far my most shot and most enjoyed handgun. The Marvel .22LR Conversion Unit came with a .617 test target fired at 50 yds. I have not fired it at 50 yds. At 25 yds., I have managed about 2.25 inches for ten shots.

Oct 19, 2013 · SP101 or 617? That is almost apples and oranges. The larger K frame S&W 617 is more or less a target grade revolver while the SP101 falls more in the class of a kit gun. The smaller size of the SP101 makes it a bit more difficult to master than the larger 617. A more valid comparison would be the S&W 63 vs the SP101.
