May 8, 2017 · This is a post in regards to a previous post about the financial backing of the Regulators. On the opposite side of the spectrum in the Capital Wasteland, Talon Company mercs will attack the player character if they have Good Karma, and always wear sophisticated combat armor and are often times well armed, juxtaposed by the more ragtag "Cowboy" vigilante aesthetic of the Regulators.

Aug 19, 2023 · Talon Company will appear and attack you if you have Good Karma. Regulators will appear and attack you if you have Evil Karma. Talon Company will also appear and attack you on Burke's orders if you disarm the bomb in Megaton. Former residents of Megaton will appear and attack you if you blow up Megaton.

Jul 5, 2023 · Particularly, Talon mercs have stupidly good equipment for how early you can see them, and how common they can get. Regulators just get dusters and revolvers, and many players will never even see them.

Talon Company is a mercenary organization active in the Capital Wasteland. They take various jobs, from bounty hunting to fighting against the super mutant occupiers of Washington, D.C. Even as far as mercenaries go, these men and women are vicious, killing anyone who does not wear their emblem (similar to raiders).

May 18, 2015 · The Salvatore's weren't actively trying to kill the Chosen One because of the Enclave though. They had exchanges with the Enclave and got energy weapons from them. I imagine the chaos in Reno from the gang wars was an added benefit for the Enclave. Who's to say they don't have a similar relationship with the Talon Mercs?

Sep 10, 2021 · That's odd to run into Talon Co. so early since they don't have a huge presence in that part of the map. I mean, they can appear just about any place but I don't recall seeing them there in my playthroughs. No spoilers, but they are mercenaries with their own agenda and more will come from them later in the game.

Mar 2, 2013 · I swear that I have read that same note that implies the Talon Company was paid to destabilize the Capital Wasteland's existing factions. I figured it was the Enclave, but I'm pretty sure that if you get a random encounter with the Talon Company and some wandering Enclave jerks, you'll get a giant brawl between you and both of them.

Sep 2, 2011 · [Fallout 3]Question: Does clearing out Fort Bannister of all Talon Co. Mercs stop them from spawning in the Wasteland? Also, apparently with the changes from Broken Steel, if the BoS succeeds in attacking Fort Bannister, it can become a BoS fort.
