Apr 26, 2020 · Quite a while ago my interest was sparked when a bunch of mad Poms at Totally TTR's decided to build a 350 big bore kit. A genuine 350cc, with all new sand cast barrel with thick walls to prevent the oil leaks that some of the 325 Thumper racing kits (actual 315cc) succumb to.

  2. 350cc Big Bore Kit for the TTR250 - updates and gossip!

Some of you may have realised by now, there is talk of a 350 kit becoming available. There has been some really hard work done by a fellow TTR nut, to see if it could work. Measurements have been taken, suppliers and manufactures have been …

  3. 1986 Yamaha TT350 - Vintage Dirt Bikes - ThumperTalk

Aug 7, 2005 · Good solid motors, easy to work on, just a bit dated by modern standards. Get fresh oil and filter in it straight away and check out the air filter too. Look for any loose spokes and possible leaks from the front fork oil seals as they can take a battering. I had an 87 XT350. It is gone now but I miss it. It was bulletproof.

Sep 11, 2024 · The 350 mod is a passion job- you have to really want it to be able to justify the cost to yourself. In all honesty, a DRZ400 would have been cheaper (outright) and give more power and better suspension (I've had one) BUT it doesn't have the character of what I've built.

  9. 1986 – ’87 Yamaha TT350 - Hemmings

Sep 23, 2018 · The 1986-’87 TT350 was powered by a 346cc air-cooled single with dual overhead cams and four valves. It was fed by a siamesed pair of Teikei Kikaki carburetors, one operated by the throttle cable, the other by vacuum.
